The Trinity ELC offers a Christian preschool program that is fun, active and life-giving.
Our philosophy is to deliver a learning experience that is Christ-centred, founded in community, intentional and built on relationships. Trinity families value the caring, safe and nurturing environment provided for their preschool children, where they play, explore, question and create in the world that God has made.
In line with the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia, early learning at the Trinity ELC is about ‘Belonging, Being and Becoming‘.
- Belonging: Understanding who you are and how you belong
- Being: Learning about and engaging in what life has to offer
- Becoming: Developing skills, understandings and attitudes for the future
Our ELC caters to the specific needs of three and four year olds. We offer a structured Preschool program and a long day care option. The current fee for the ELC is a daily rate of $165, as of 8 July 2024.
Learning program
The Early Learning Centre offers a play-based curriculum, aimed at nurturing the whole child. Our Centre includes modern open plan classrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, green space and a playground. The ELC offers a program for three and four year olds. Both learning programs incorporate regular visits to the main campus for library, music, sport and special events.
The ELC is open from 8am to 6pm for long stay day care and is operational for 50 weeks of the year. The ELC provides morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack if needed.
As well as the Centre Director, teachers, early childhood educators and assistants, the Centre employs Trinity Year 11 and 12 students, currently undertaking their Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
From the Director of the ELC
The Trinity Early Learning Centre is an exceptional place of learning for the school’s youngest students. Children are capable learners, and they will experience a play-based program which will meet their individual needs so they can learn, grow and flourish.
In our outstanding environment, children will play, explore and be encouraged to be curious as they learn about themselves and the world around them. We value partnering with families and will provide opportunities for parents and carers to engage in community events throughout the year.
Children are such a precious gift from God. Jesus taught us the infinite value of seeing things as children do, and at the ELC we are blessed and privileged to share our week with them.
