Uganda Missions trip

The trip is fast approaching!

The Uganda mission team will be leaving on Wednesday 4 July and

will be away till 20 July.

Thanks to the TCS students from Kindergarten to Year 12 who participated in a Non-Uniform Day on 31 May which raised $2073.20 for the Uganda mission. Generous donations have also been received from individual families and church organizations. All these donations will be used to bless Christian schools in Uganda that the mission team will visit - 3 primary schools, 1 high school and a vocational education school.

The mission team will be taking 500 calico bags, some sports equipment, books and woodworking tools. These items will be given to the Christian schools that Trinity supports in Uganda. Thank-you to our Junior Section students who have been beautifully hand decorated the calico bags.

Check out some of the photos of the previous mission trip in 2010 and of the Commissioning Assembly that was held for the current mission team last week. At the Commissioning Assembly some members of the mission team had an opportunity to tell their peers why they joined the team, and what they are looking forward to.

Please pray for the team as they travel to Africa. May it be a life changing experience for them, as well as the people they meet and interact with.
