On Tuesday they welcomed the participants as they arrived in their church groups. Last night and every night this week at 6:30 there will be a meeting in the hall, commencing with worship, then preaching time. Meetings are open to anyone – not just participants. During the day the participants go out to do community service projects in Yass, Burra, Goulburn, Murrumbateman and Mountain Trails at Wee Jasper.
The oval currently looks like a little tent city, the hall looks ready for a concert. Many of the classrooms in V & R blocks look like dormitories and the Art room and the area outside of it has been made into a wonderful makeshift café. The COLA is a “Chill out” area and I understand there is a make shift mini golf course set up there alongside the jumping castle.
It is exciting to see so many young people spending their holidays serving God and going deeper in their faith. If you would like to pray please do….please include the weather in your prayers; many people giving their heart to Jesus; many others going to a deeper level in their relationship with Him and don’t forget to pray for energy, wisdom and anointing on the Soul Survivor leaders, speaker and church group leaders.
It has been very exciting to watch all the set up and the organisation and we look forward to hearing wonderful news/report as the event draws to an end on Sunday morning.
